Happy International Women’s Day 2018

International Women's Day 2018Gender equality has come a long way since the early days of 20th century when the first International woman’s day was celebrated. We can all agree it has been a long battle since the suffrage movement first began and we still have a long ways to go. At Nayelle we believe that we are all created equal and that race, gender, religion, education and social status are artificial barriers to equality.

Nature’s duality principle is teaching us that feminine and masculine forces are in symbiotic relationship mutually compensating each other’s strengths’ and weaknesses. We ought to celebrate the nurturing nature of woman that gives us comfort and strength. There are countless examples of brave woman that have overcome gender inequalities and prove to all of us that we are all truly equal.

What comes to your mind hearing the following names? Rosa Parks, Anne Frank, Marie Crurie, Hillary Clinton, Ruth Ginsburg, Oprah Winfrey, Audrey Lordi, Kathy Switzer, Mother Teresa, Ellen DeGeneres, Michelle Obama and Princes Diana just to name just a few…

We believe that every day is International Woman’s Day. We believe we can show our appreciation with woman in our immediate circle like mothers, sisters, aunts, cousins, coworkers, neighbours and with whoever we may cross our ways during our days. There is no need for flowers on March 8th; if only we can please have a kind word, approving gesture and give woman the respect they deserve.

Nayelle translates to “I LOVE YOU”. It’s a popular name given to first born baby girls in northern Mexico by local Aztec native tribes.

Who runs the world? Girls! Yeah.
